Ingredients for Sweet Potato Hash Browns:

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and shredded (about 4 1/2 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon chipotle chili powder (optional but delicious)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Step By Step Instructions:

Step 1: Prepare the sweet potatoes.

Firstly, peel the sweet potatoes carefully. You can use a food processor or a grater that you have in your kitchen to shred them into thin strips.

  • Put all the shredded sweet potatoes in a large bowl. Put a little bit of olive oil over them.
