Equipment

  • 1 Large Skillet
  • 1 Pasta Pot
  • 1 Colander

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound  Thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta
  • 1 pound Uncooked jumbo shrimp Peeled, deveined, tails removed, and fully thawed
  • 8 tbsp Butter Divided
  • 6 cloves Garlic Minced
  • ¼ tbsp Red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups Dry white wine
  • ½ tbsp Lemon Juiced
  • 2 tbsp Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Fresh asparagus Cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 cup Roma tomatoes Diced
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Parmesan or Romano cheese For Servings

Instructions
 

Prepare the Pasta

  • Cook the thin spaghetti or angel hair pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp

  • In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.

  • Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

  • In the same skillet, add the remaining 4 tablespoons of butter and melt it

  • Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the Vegetables and Pasta

  • Add the fresh asparagus pieces and diced Roma tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
  • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and heat everything together for 1-2 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve
