Long Arm River Prawn
Are you ready to cook up a delightful seafood dish called Long Arm River Prawn? Let's move on to making Long Arm River Prawn, a mouthwatering treat that's perfect for seafood lovers. This recipe is not only delicious but also simple to prepare. Let's get started.
Equipment
- 1 Skillet
- 1 Food processor
Ingredients
- 2-4 Giant River Prawns (adjust to your preference)
- Butter
- Salt
For Nam Jim Seafood (Dippings)
- 8 Red Chilis
- 7 Cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 5 tbsp Lime Juice
- 3 tbsp Fish Sauce
- (as much as you like) Cilantro
Combine and blend in a food processor.
Instructions
- You can start by making a dipping sauce of Nam Jim Seafood. Mix together eight red chilis, seven garlic cloves, two tablespoons sugar, 5 mL of lime juice, 3 ml of fish sauce or cilantro in a food processor to make whatever you like. Until you've got a delicious sauce, blend it. Set it aside.
- Now, let's focus on the Long Arm River Prawns. Rinse them thoroughly under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a generous amount of butter. Allow it to melt and sizzle.
- Place the prawns in warm butter, gently. Put a small amount of salt on them. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and develop a lovely golden color.
- Once the prawns are cooked, remove them from the pan and place them on a serving plate.
- Serve the Long Arm River Prawns with the prepared Nam Jim Seafood dipping sauce on the side. This sauce adds a zesty and spicy kick that perfectly complements the prawns' rich flavor.
Notes
Variations and Substitutions:
- If you can’t find Giant River Prawns, you can use regular-sized prawns or even shrimp for this recipe.
- Adjust the spiciness of the Nam Jim Seafood sauce by adding or reducing the number of red chilis.
