Ingredients

Ingredients for Lo Mein Sauce:

  • cup Chicken broth
  • 4 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil

For the Lo Mein itself:

  • 8 oz noodles (cooked as per the instructions on their packet)
  • 1 tbsp Oil (you can choose between olive oil, avocado oil, or sesame oil)
  • 1  lb Chicken
  • 2 Large carrots
  • 1 Big onion
  • 2 cups Broccoli
  • 4 Garlic cloves

Instructions

For the Lo Mein Sauce:

  • Add the chicken's soup, soy sauce, brown sugar and sesame oil to a small bowl. Mix well and set aside

For the Lo Mein:

  • Fix up your noodles as per the packet's directions. Once done, drain them and put them aside for later.
Get your skillet (or wok if you prefer), warm up your olive oil over a medium-high heat.
The chicken! Toss it into your skillet and give it a good stir-fry until it's all cooked and there's no pink in sight. Take it out of the skillet and put it aside.
Veggie time! Throw in your sliced carrots, onion, and garlic into the skillet. Stir-fry them until they are starting to soften.
Add the broccoli and keep that stir-fry going until all your veggies are nice and tender.
Chicken returns! Bring back your cooked chicken into the mix, stirring it in with all those tasty veggies.
Lo Mein sauce! Pour it all over your chicken and veggie mix. Give it a good stir and keep it cooking until the sauce starts to thicken.
Noodle addition! Add in those cooked noodles you set aside earlier, give it all a big toss until it's all well mixed. Cook a little longer, just until everything is nice and hot.
And there you have it! A delicious Lo Mein, ready to be devoured!
